The State of North Carolina is launching the new SUN Bucks Program. This food assistance program will provide benefits to qualifying students and families to help purchase healthy foods during the summer months.  Eligible students may receive their SUN Bucks card this summer at their mailing address on file at their school. If your child is approved for or receives National School Lunch Program Free or Reduced-Price meals at their school, they may automatically qualify to receive SUN Bucks this summer.  Take action now: Please confirm by March 28, 2024 that the mailing address on file with your school is up to date with the best address for the summer months. Please contact your school’s office if you would like to request an update to your mailing address.

Our school is participating in the GEAR UP NC program this year, which provides additional resources and opportunities to our students to prepare them academically and to help them learn and apply to college.  As part of this program, we are asking all 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade parents to answer a short survey about your student’s learning, plans for the future, and your communications with the school.  The survey will take approximately 10 minutes.
