  • Elementary Battle of the Books Champions

Congratulations to Star Elementary's EBOB team! They won the District EBOB competition this week and are officially the 2017 Elementary Battle of the Books Champion team. It was a great competition. Many thanks to: students who gave of their time to practice and read all the books; to parents for making it possible for your child to be on the team by picking them up from practices and encouraging them to read, read, read; to Mrs. Shepherd for being a wonderful coach and caring enough to donate her time for planning and team meetings. You're all AWESOME!

  • Morning Snack Pack Grab 'n Go Breakfast Option

We're excited to offer a Morning Snack Pack breakfast option for our students beginning on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016. And it's part of our FREE universal breakfast for all of our students. Students can stop by the kiosk in the lobby and get a nutritious grab and go snack pack for breakfast instead of the traditional breakfast offered in the cafeteria. If your child has already eaten breakfast at home, then this is the perfect option for him or her! They can enjoy the snack pack during snack time or later at lunch as a snack. See the flyers for more information.
