- Midyear Review Date – (Enclosure 8) – Dale Ellis Action Item - The Board will decide the date of the midyear review at a later time.

- Cell Phones Update – (Enclosure 9) – Dale Ellis - Dr. Ellis presented feedback on the cell phone policy to the Board. They gave him recommendations for an updated policy and he will bring a draft to them at a later time.
V. Leadership Will Guide Innovation in NC Public Schools
- Calendar Update – (Enclosure 10) –Dale Ellis - Four versions of the 2012-13 calendar will be presented to the Board in January.

· Montgomery County Sales Tax Update – (Enclosure 11) –Dale Ellis - Dr. Ellis gave a quarter-cent sales tax update to the Board. MCS will start receiving money starting April 1, 2012.
