CTE Happenings
CTE Students from MCHS and MCC participated in the Southwest Regional Rally! Billy Hart and Tatiana Polastre Steele both came in 1st place in their respective competitions. Also, Preston Gilberti came in 3rd place in Cabinetmaking, and Edgar Cano came in 5th place for Cabinetmaking.

CTE Month is a public awareness campaign that takes place each February to celebrate the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country.Thank you to ALL of our CTE teachers for all the opportunities they provide for our students!

February is National Career and Technical Education Month. Montgomery County Schools offers CTE courses in Health Sciences, Agriculture, Woodworking, Firefighting, Culinary Arts, and MORE! We're committed to graduating life-ready students who are prepared for the next phase of their lives and careers!Each week in the month of February we will be highlighting our CTE pathways and CTE teachers!
CTE High School Pathways
Listed Below are the CTE Pathways available for high school students. Our goal is to have every student become a CTE Concentrator. To become a CTE Concentrator, a student must complete 2 levels in the same pathway. In addition, we encourage all students to take CCP/CTE courses that are offered by Montgomery Community College.
Certain CTE classes also offer credentials. Earning credentials helps students become more qualified in a certain skill along with giving them an advantage when applying for jobs.
