Hello! My name is Reginald K. Jackson, Assistant Principal here at West Montgomery High School. I hold licensures that include the completion a dual degree of the elementary education teacher licensure program (K-6) and the teacher licensure program in special education (K-12) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have over 23 years as an educator and possess a master’s in education from North Carolina State University. I also hold a Masters of School Administration facilitated through the prestigious Principal Preparation, for Excellence and Equity in Rural Schools (PPEERS) program. The program is funded from the North Carolina Alliance for School Leader Development and is administered through UNCG School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations and reflects its ongoing commitment to addressing issues of social justice, equity, and culturally-responsive leadership.
In the upcoming year, I will be getting to know you and your student and working directly with our outstanding academic team here at West to facilitate our student's exploration and discovery about themselves and the world around them. During the year we will be working to provide essential curriculum content, instructional activities, and assessments as it relates to our mission to:
“graduate life-ready, globally competitive citizens by engaging in rigorous educational experiences and by building positive relationships and strong partnerships.”
I am honored to be part of your child’s educational environment and one of the stops on your student’s journey down their highway to the future. I thank you for this opportunity to be part of your student’s learning experiences and life!
