    WMHS Summer Projects Guidelines


    Students who are scheduled to take an Honors or Advanced Placement Course for the next school year’s fall and/or spring semester are required to complete a Summer Project for each course. Students and teachers are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:


    Ø All projects are due to the course teacher or department head on the first day of school in August.

    Ø The only exceptions will be for transfer students or those with approved schedule changes. These students will be given ____ weeks to complete their projects.

    Ø Grading of projects will be done following a rubric devised by subject area departments.

    Ø Students will receive feedback/grades for projects by the end of the first six weeks of the class depending on whether they are enrolled in either the fall or spring semester.
