    MUSIC is awesome!
    Michelle Williams-Gonzales, Choral Director at Troy Elementary since 2002

    Troy Elementary students will receive Music on a 3-week rotation with Art and Technology.

    Kindergarten has music 11:10--11:55
    2nd grade has music 12:15--1:00
    1st grade has music 1:15--2:00
     
    Mrs. Michelle assists daily in 2nd grade intervention and reading groups.
    Mrs. Michelle also teaches at Page Street and Mt. Gilead Elementary Schools 
     
     
    Music lesson plans are aligned with the North Carolina Essential Standards for K-12 Music Education.
    The NC Essential Standards were derived by a group of music education experts with an emphasis on
    musical literacy, musical response and contextual relevancy.
