Montgomery County Early College Now Accepting Applications

Montgomery County Schools Early College High School (MCEC) will be enrolling rising 9th-grade students for the 2019 - 2020 school year. MCEC students will have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and an associate degree or two years of transferable college credits in four or five years FOR FREE. Applications for students interested in attending MCEC are now available. For those interested, the applications can be obtained from the student's guidance counselor or can be printed by clicking HERE for the MCEC Application. If there are more than 50 students who meet the minimum qualifications for acceptance, then a selection lottery will be performed by the MCEC Selection Committee. The committee will follow the intent of the Cooperative Innovative High School Act giving priority to first-generation college graduates and underrepresented minorities. The application process requires students to submit a completed application packet by February 21, 2019.
