  1. Happy Fourth Day of Exams!
  2. Page Street Elementary is seeking volunteers to help with their Field Day on June 11.  Please let Dr. Seawell know if you would like to volunteer.
  3. Don’t forget your laptop, charger, and bag must be turned in every day until the end of the school year. They will be turned in to homeroom.  If you have a signed form to use your computer this summer for an MCC class – please turn in to the office.  You may sign out your computer for the summer on the last day of school from Dr. Seawell.
  4. Attendance Waiver forms were due Monday!  See Dr. Seawell if you have any questions.
  5. Junior Seminar Project was due last week.  See Mrs. Pratt if you have any questions.
  6. If you have not returned your calculator or MCC textbooks, do so TODAY to avoid being charged calculator or textbook fees.
  7. East Montgomery High School Athletic Banquet is scheduled to be at the James Garner Center in Troy on May 30th at 6 PM with a meal being catered by River Wild. Guest tickets are now available for purchase from EMHS! Anyone that is not an athlete or coach that would like to attend can purchase a ticket for $10 which will include the meal. Eagle Student-athletes will receive their ticket as long as they have turned in all athletic team apparel/equipment and have their school fees paid in full. Please come out and support this event as it will be the last East Montgomery Eagles Athletic Banquet. If you have any questions please see Coach Watson.
  8. Any student interested in participating in Cross Country for the 2019-2020 school year please complete the interest form on the Montgomery Central High School website. Practices will begin August 1st, 2019, time and location TBD.  All students must have a current physical before they can practice.  More information to come.
  9. The sophomore seminar assignment is available on Canvas.  Students have 30 - 35 ACT questions each in Math, English, Reading and Science.  Each section has a different go formative for students to submit answers.  The assignment is due on May 23.  Mrs. Daywalt will record the grades on May 24.
  10. Be sure and update your computer for testing (turn it off and on while at school).  If any repairs are needed, put in a ticket today!
  11. Are you interested in playing volleyball in the fall?  Please sign up in the office.  Coach Panzer will be sending information soon.
  12. Taking a summer class?  You may pick up summer class textbooks in the library.  If you need to check out your laptop for your summer class, you must return a signed copy of your form.  Laptops for summer use will be distributed on the last day of school.
  13. Did you miss your FREE SPORT PHYSICALS? Turn your Physical Form from into the front office and we will arrange for a physical.
  14. Students if you are interested in the Teen Volunteer Program at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, please see Mrs. New for an application.  Applications are due by May 21.
  15. As the weather gets warmer, please remember to follow MCEC’s dress code.  If you have any questions, please refer to the student handbook or see Dr. Seawell.
  16. If you have a Sophomore/Junior interested in the apprenticeship program or is looking into pursuing a degree in Industrial Systems Technology or a similar degree at MCC, please see Mrs. New to complete an interest form. 
  17. Students, please remember you are not permitted to be in any classroom that is not assigned to the Early College. If you are looking for a quiet place to work, please see Ms. Ashby to reserve a study room.
  1. Students – sleeping on campus is not permitted.  Do not sleep or lie down on the benches.  If you are not feeling well, please let the office know. Students, also please remember that no student is allowed in the parking lot without permission.  Students are also not permitted to go to building 100 other than lunch – unless they are attending a class. 
  2. Did you know that MCEC has hot spots available for check-out?  Don’t miss out on doing your assignments because you do not have internet at home.  See Mrs. Buchman in the office to check one out for the night or reserve one for future use.
